 Custom wood fabrication is yet another part of our ever growing menu of
services for you to choose from. We build standardized items such as
equipment rack shells, utility caster boards, and audio mixer doghouses.
We also offer a virtually unlimited capability to fabricate custom designs
based on your needs. While many case building companies avoid elaborate
designs in wood fabricating we embrace the opportunities as yet another
chance to help our customers fulfill their needs.
One of the unique designs we offer is our famous
floating mixer doghouse assemblies. Standard offerings at
most other case companies provide greatly reduced protection of your valuable
audio mixing consoles by mounting the doghouse portion directly to the case
wall and coupling the mixer directly to the doghouse with a rigid piece of
rubber or other compound. Our standard design is very simple. We build a
doghouse assembly which the mixer console fits into and the mixer and doghouse
assembly are encased in the foam lining of the case.
All our wood fabrication projects are built from the highest quality
Russian Birch multi-ply hardwood core plywood unlike many of our competitors
who still use domestic fir plywood which is very soft and unstable. We
finish all projects with a variety of durable protective chemical finishes of
your choice.
